Russian Ice tunnel

Some of these crashes are pretty funny.

This 3150 meter long tunnel in Russia is the longest in-city tunnel of Europe . There is a river running over it and water leaks at some points. When the temperature drops to minus 38 degrees like it did this winter, the road freezes. The result is the attached video taken during a single day with the tunnel camera.

Wow...
And all in one day?
A couple warning signs and some salt or sand might be in order.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

+1 or closing the damn thing.

The bus was pretty funny. I hope no one was hurt, though.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

I wonder how much time crews spent cleaning up debris, after all the crashes, in the next one the road is cleaned up before another crash.

It doesn't look like ice created many of those accidents. To me it looks like a bunch of idiots driving 95 in a 55, through a 3 lane tunnel, with no emergency lanes.

Bunch of morons they got over there.

Impressive that all those crashes were just in one day.

I just laughed out loud at the bus. That would be a hell of a ride to anyone in back, or standing passengers.

Wife just yelled at me to shut up and come to bed.

In a 2 mile long tunnel? They were probably all pissed off that their cell phone dropped the call.
