It does not say that it will change genders at a push of a button, so i would notch this under 'useless' for you.

I don't have this version, but my logitech Harmony is awesome. Highly recommended, I cut down 3 remotes to one and I can do all Comcast cable box functions (on demand, etc) on it. Definitely worth the change.

Slightly off topic but my 880 is starting to crap out it seems. Volume button requires you to push your thumb damn near through the remote to work and the thing seems laggy but that might be my crappy Comcast box also.

where. My 550 isn't working as well as it used to, and an upgrade seems appropriate. and being cheap $94 seems worth it to me.

Sorry I was wrong on the price...its $92, not $94

I paid the extra $5 for 2 day shipping and it came the next day. shipped from carol stream.

If the 890 ever drops to less than $100 i'll pick it up and us the 880 for a bedroom tv. The buttons on my 688 weren't reacting well so its basically going to sit around as a backup. So far i'm really happy with the 880.

I wish, the 890 going less than $100 is going to take a while sadly. I love the wireless support, very slick.

zwave wireless, it uses that instead of infrared. Communicates to a base station that does all the IR blasting to your components. Good if your equipment is in a different room, in a cabinet, or otherwise out of sight.

I guess I don't need that right now, the 880 is awesome... programming it with macros and all is easy. Thanks for the feedback per a previous thread on universal remotes..
