Tank bag protection

Does anyone put any sort of protective lining under their magnetic tank pad so it doesn't scuff/scratch/swirl the paint??? i know most of them have some sort of pad under but looking to see if anyone adds another thin layer of protection that still allows the magnetic properties to still be strong.

My tank bag has a rubber-like surface on the bottom. The only part I get scuffs/swirls from is the front clip that I don't use.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

At this point does it matter?

Too soon? J/K man. I have heard of others protecting their paint from bags with painters tape.

They also sell a clip on tank bag that matches the bra. I'm probably going to buy this soon for my Busa 05. It will also work with a magnetic tank bag too.

Here's a picture of what it looks like

Doesn't the tank bra defeat the purpose of keeping the tank clean. You still pick up dust and other debris. In the long run, it acts like sand paper against the paint?
Good question, from what I've heard that hasn't been an issue. But when I get mine I'll be happy to share my review.
