Cubs games Rock! as do the Cubs!

Went to the cubs game last night, got some bleacher seats on cubs.com yesterday on a random whim. Bleachers are by far the best seats in wrigley! I had a nice milf sitting next to me too! The dugout is an awesome bar, they have a barrell full of peanuts, the punching game where you punch the bag and it measures how hard it is, and two beer pong tables. Game was sweet, drank a crap ton of oldstyle in additon to the six-pack of 16oz's I had before the game! Thanks to the cabbie who got us to union station in record time after we bailed from the brown line b/c it was running the opposite direction around the loop!! And thank god for metra b/c there is no way my drunk ass would have made it home after that! Go Cubs!!

Hmmm, not a single mention of baseball in that post. Just bleachers, milfs, puching stuff, beer, oldstyle, drunk ass, and peanuts. Typical.

Am I the only sober person who goes to sporting events? I'll post my photos from last Saturday's romp against the D-backs when I get them online. Photos of the baseball game, in case anyone is confused.

That defines the Cub fan mentality.

That's why they are so afraid to go to a sox game... they might actually have to watch the game that is being played.

Everytime I hear a dig against the Sox is goes something along the lines of who sells the place out or not... I say who gives a shit... the less people there the better for me I get to move closer to the field then.

I know people that would rather attend a Sox game because the atmosphere is more entertaining, with music, the games on the big screen, the fireworks; more recent tech stuff. Where as Wrigley field offers a more nostalgic game with the organ, the historic stadium, low-tech scoreboard, etc. I enjoy games in both stadiums. But I get pissed off when the drunk-bleacher crowd becomes the most staunch 'defenders' of their team, yet can't remember the final score.

95% percent of my family are die-hard cubs fans; my uncle even wrote a book (trying to get it published) about the Cubs, past-and-present. MY father and I are in the other 5%, but I grew-up fans of both teams, back before the separate leagues even played each other. Somewhere upstairs I have every Cubs and Sox baseball card from the mid 80's to the mid-90's.

I went to the game on Monday...12-3 win...YEAH! I didnt drink...it was too cold to! Plus its hard to drink the crap beer they have @ Wrigley! Thats my only grip about Wrigley. Ill post up some pics when I get home...even though our seats were damn near the top the view was beautiful!

Don't get me wrong, I love baseball. I watch every game I can on tv, not just cubs games. Hell, I'm going to the sox game next week b/c my ma got some free tickets. I have fun there too.

Soberness is way overrated

The only thing I don't like about watching a game at Wrigley is no instant replays. Although, if you are in the right section they have TVs so you can see a replay. I got dugout box seats for Saturday's game, first row, can't wait!
and I don't get drunk at games.....you miss more than you catch.

The real reason we're afraid to go to Sox games is getting shot!

some of the best baseball games i have ever been to were in detroit and only about 2500 people would show up at a weekday evening game. that is not the case now but it was good when i lived there.

that being said go cubs.
