Never forget. I'm there at 430-5 am already drinking beers, usually for the NHRA event though. I love all race events because I am a closet alcoholic, if gives me an excuse to drink that early. You gonna be there Ken?

I went to NHRA a couple years back with my school and I had a blast. The tickets are too expensive though, $60 a pop is too much for a race.

$60 is nothing for a Saturday there. 2 rounds of qualifying for every class. Screw the final eliminations or practices on a friday. Saturdays is where it's at. Show up at 430-5 am, cook breakfast, start drinking, and throwing bean bags or bouncing site to site. It is worth it.

i personally like the friday night. i like seeing the fuel cars in the dark...and its usually the fastest rounds of qualifying. we sit there and get drunk while we bet with eachother. we all pitch in a few bucks and bet on what the bump will be in each class. closest to that time takes all the cash!
