First time service at 600 Miles

How much should I be paying for this service? I went to the dealership today and told me it would be $215 with tax and everything for oil change, spark plugs, and for them to checkout everything. Anyone got other ideas?

Change the oil yourself, keep receipts for proof, check your bolts to see if they're tight and send me $215.

That's what I did. (check is in the mail). If you do actually pay to have them done tell them to keep the spark plugs. I would be shocked if they actually hange them.

Get the service done by a certified (insert your bike here) mechanic. $215 sounds about right. I recommened having the dealer do it so that you have no problems with the warrently.

Small price to pay imho.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

no reason for plugs on a 4cycle, 2 cycle with break in oil mix yea.

Personally Id have it serviced, especially if you are not exceptionally mechanically inclined and equipped with the specific service manual for your ride. a manual only helps so much it cant make up for training and experience that a certified mech will have as well as any specialty diagnostic equipment the shop would provide.

the choice is yours

Please describe the vehicle you are in so that all riders can give you a wide berth since you are clearly NOT paying attention to your driving.

Bad driver!

absolutely! dealers need to stay in business. without people like you....they would have to close the doors. true story. so us mechanical guys will continue to do it ourselves....and others will go spend $200+. works out for everyone!
