Snap Frozen Steak/Chicken

A bit of background... So this guy sells me a TON of marinated snap frozen steak and chicken. Each cut comes in an individual air tight plastic packet, and is guaranteed to taste the same and not have freezer burn for up to 12 months. So it's been about a month now and the steak still tastes freakin awesome, and I'm eating three times as much steak and chicken as any man should ever eat for dinner.

So whats the downside of buying meat like this? The price is cheaper than the supermarket, it's already half prepared, there is nearly no fat on the meat, so whats up?

Ever wonder where the animals from the animal shelter or children from the orphanage go when they have no place to stay?
