Fun Times At UPRR (M19A)

It was good times tonight at work the locals were feeling frisky I guess and decided that tonight was a good night for some tresspassing and looting LOL. The scary thing is we were actually out numbered so thankfully they only went after the scrap metal and didn't decide to come into the building like someone did a few weeks ago. So we had 5 guys 2 pick-em up trucks and when we made the call to the "special agents" lots of cops showed up at least 7 squads with 2 cops each plus the UP cops it was assholes and elbows with guys running and cops chasing them, but all 5 got matching braclets and a free ride to jail it was pretty cool. Oh and they impounded the trucks LOL. The only thing that sucked was that we had to unload all the crap out of the trucks before they took them away and that shit was heavy! but since I had messed my wrist up last week my boss just had me go inside to man the phones and radio. All and all it was a cool night. Sorry no pics but it was to dark.

There is a metal recycler right across the street from M19a. They take all metal, no questions asked. The Brock's candy factory was totally stripped of metal in less than a month. Glad noone was hurt. That area is rough at night, watch out for the crackheads.

Almost totally. They tried to get the copper 12,000 volt buswork out of the electrical vaults. That didn't work out too well for the thieves since it was still alive at the time.

Based on the description, M19A is over on Cicero, right?

Near Lake and Pulaski kinda. It is the main servicing place for commuter locomotives, and they also see our problem freight engines no one else can figure out. Pretty sharp people there. A late member here,Ytrap, worked there before his passing.

I remember YTRAP, God rest him; wasn't really aware he worked for UP. I've been by M19A many times since I live not far from there (up by Division St.).

The scrappers are getting stupider, I think. We just juiced another guy over on Fillmore and Kostner. I guess he was trying to collect some nice heavy copper cable that happened to be live at 480V at the time.
