What I did during bike night! WTF?!?

Ok, so I get to the Shell on 55 and 83, go in, get Redbull, tank it back, and go back to my bike...and it WON"T F#$%ING START!!!!!!! Just needs a new battery I think, but come on...why even start up to get that far?!?

If it started and then drained to a dead battery, I would look towards your regulator/rectifier rather than just a battery problem. The battery should charge itself up when riding... when the RR fails the charge doesn't happen and you run the battery dead.

yeah +1

its a pain but you need to take a volt-meter and check to make sure your gettin the right juice outta the regulator/rectifer. my old FZR's went bad and i had the same problem.

you can pick one up at any auto parts place or ace. you want to read how to use it but you connect it to the cables coming from it and see if your gettin enough juice. that will depend on your bike...

here are a few pics I nabbed on my phone before I craved some dinner, sorry if they are shitty.

this was relatively early, chills did we get there around 7?


oh man do I need to get a fender eliminator...look at that stock ugly thing sticking out blah..

this picture was taken to the left of the previous where the other part of the lot was filling up fast:


I didn't take any pictures beyond that...there were a few sharp looking pasta rockets behind me..nothing special
