a company rep is the last person you want to ask for an honest oppinion on a product. if its their product its gonna be the greatest thing in the world, if its not theirs then the shit dont work

werd. the reps are useless, they just have to be able to sell, not actually know everything.

Yeah well, it seems like the doctors are fucking worthless as usual. My mothers new doctor is trying to change her perscription. The first two meds are the choices she gave her. A quick check on Epocrates online shows you are more likely to develop osteonecrosis of the jaw if you have cancer or if you have been treated with chemotherapy, radiation or steroids. My mother has been treated with all three. I fucking hate the healthcare system in this country.

It is a completely broken system.

Pharm reps are often smokin hot chicks, btw. Dirtbiker has sampled a few of their wares.

she needs to ask why they want to change an already working med, ask the doc directly if he's getting a kickback for these drugs and see if his tune changes. the best way to get help with stuff is to ask questions and be informed.

I ask two half doctors (aka med students) any medical questions I may have. They have never steered me wrong, one of them is actually quite entertaining as he gives me a funny answer before a serious answer. And its free.

You think I was really asking medical advise from a salesperson?

Im doing the research on them now, we are going back and I am going to talk to her tomorrow.

Im just trying to gather as much info as possible. I have had sales positions before and what I would tell clients vs. what I would tell friends where usually two different things.

Brian-
You if you still have my #...call me. I'll get you in touch with one of THE best Rph's in my company. She's at one of my Oswego stores and I trust her opinion more than any Dr. She does a lot of my systems testing when I need a production store to test on.

My brother has had a round of cytoxin, and many rounds of rituxin, HEAVY HEAVY steroids (which caused double cataracts which had to be surgically corrected)...the only thing he did not have was radiation. He is on one of the first 2.

The long term benefit WAY outweighs the risk of taking these meds...but let me get you in touch with someone in the know...who will give you an unbiased opinion.

Nicole
