600 mile service

I have been looking through my paper work and can not find a list as to what is supposed to be checked at 600 miles.

When I called the service shop and asked about valve adjustment on my ninja 250 he said the tech"eyeballed it and it was fine". Now I don't know much about MC engines but would'nt have to open the engine to look at this, and should'nt there be a list of what's to be done at that interval such as oil change?

You don't need to do a valve adjustment until somewhere around 12,000 miles.

Baiscally all they do is the oil change and suppose to check and make sure everything is ok on the bike for ya. You can do all of this stuff yourself with just a little bit of time.

Most likely you would not need a chain adjustment but I am sure they did if it needed it.

I'll change your oil for you and check everything for $140 every time, unless you decide to just pay what you should be without the raping.
