i would help man, but i got nothing to transport it with right now...and everyone is out right now that i know who wouold be able to help...sorry man...

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

You don't need the clutch to ride it, shifter end is optional. As long as the bike isn't dropping oil it should be doable.

get some visegrips and clamp that to the shifter. be careful not to damage the splines.

Got more info. Clutch lever snaped off and just the front part of the shifter is busted off.

He was going south on 53 and took 90 exit towards rockford.

If he gets a bump start he maybe good to go home.
