We put a lip around the edge of ours to keep spills on the table for the most part. It will not keep everything in check, but it helps with the cleanup the next morning.

1. remove door from hinge (or find an old door)
2. lay door across end tables or chairs
3. play games
4. ????
5. profit.

At least that's the broke college way.
