Doggie Air Show - Anyone interested?

I discovered that my pup absolutely LOVES fighter jets today... She is on the balcony right now watching them fly back and forth outside... Tail wagging, ears snapped forward.. Looking back at me then the jet then me.. It's so adorable...

So I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in doing a doggie beach air show day tomorrow or Sunday?

So what do you dog lovers think?

I imagine we would be on the north end of all the activity... Not sure what kind of dog crowds this is going to attract.. I think 75% of the people are going to be between North Ave beach and Grant Park area...

Anyone interested?

I'll have my camera with a 28-135mm lens.. So I can hopefully get some decent pup pics and some... far off fuzzy jet pics

I was going to rent a longer lens... but all they had was a 600mm.. and as awesome of a lens that is for photographing jets and such... It's rather limiting if you want to photograph anything within 50' of you

Brian,

Was good meeting you and your girl...
I uploaded the pics over night (took just shy of 1 gig... but most of them were of the Angels)

The beach was rather full.. but not over crowded... Parking was a complete PITA... and I think we ended up getting lucky finding a spot in only 20-30 minutes...

I'll pop a few up now.. and a few more at lunch when I have some time...

Greg

Here are the rest

Harder to throw, aim, and shoot that one might think.. but every so often you get a lucky shot

Little out of focus.. but still a kinda cool shot

So outta there...
Seems like a lot of the shots were out of focus... might need to check out the camera...

Sinking ball

but the Blue Angels at the end of the day.. That was just icing on the cake.. Damn.... Hairs still stand up just thinking about it.. I can't even imagine the rush flying one of those things must be.

So close it didn't even fit in frame at 135mm...
