why would you boost a 600? everyone knows that the busa is the turbo machine for the streets. make sure you wear your corona tank top while you street race...

you will probably see more performance gain swapping in the 750 motor which is a direct drop in, and it's more of a sleeper. I thought you could put a 1k motor in if you relocate like two motormounts.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with a turbo kit on a 600, step up to a 1k, cheaper more reliable, easier to ensure, it's a win, win, win, win.

theres another consideration to turboing a relaitvely low displacement high revving engine like the 600

turbos are very flow sensitive adn get very peaky on this type of engine comtrolling the turbo becomes increasingly difficult with amount of boost as well as RPM

There is a guy on 600RR.net who put a turbo on a 600RR so you might want to check that out. There will probably be a good amount of fabrication involved. I doubt anyone make a turbo manifold for a GSXR600 (or a 600RR for that matter). Getting a 1000CC bike is going to be easier and cheaper than building a turbo 600. If you are just looking for a way to go fast, get a 1000CC. The only reason I could think of to turbo a 600 is to be different.

I have a Busa Ill sell ya and you'll go plenty faster.

Dont believe there's enough room under those fairings for a turbo so there's most likely a lot of cutting involved, buy a 1000 or my busa, more reliable and still much faster than the 600

I have a turbo busa for sale if you are interested. I'm not even going to comment on the 600 turbo idea.

Contact these people, I hear they do good work and do custom stuff all the time. They have one for a GSXR1000, so they could probably adapt if for your 600:

Classic CLSB... guy wants to know if people have info on if its been done.

response: Your inexperienced, why bother, thats a bad idea, why would you want to, use the money to get to the track (not the drag strip that is, anyone can go fast in a straight line) ect....

I dont have any help for you that wasn't already said, Mrturbo is the way to go. Best of luck to ya, if you do it take a lot of pictures, i would love to see how this turns out.

turbo

When we use to meet at Strats there was a regular that had a turbo GSX-R750. I believe the work was done by Hann Racecraft. Great guy, and he has built ALOT of turbos for many different things. Other than that Mr. Turbo from Texas is the way to go. Good luck with your project.

DAVID

DID I LOG ONTO CLSB OR TMZ.COM WTF???
