Fun Facts for the day.

So I'm down here in Dallas, for my yearly refresher ground school for the airlines, and one of today's big topics was security...which leads to today's fun fact:

50

The number of complete and functional explosive devices/bombs found by the TSA, in passengers luggage during screening, in the past 12 months in the USA.

Wonder what the demographic breakdown of those 50 incidents is.

On the cargo side, I used to drive airline pallets to that little building in ORD that pressurizes them to test for explosives. Though I'm sure the bumpy-ass roads leading from our building to that shack would have set something off before I got there.

I'm curious. Of those 50 devices, how many of them were fueled by 3.2-4.0 ounces of Neutrogena facial cleanser??
