Any way to get NFL network besides Direct TV???

This is the second F'n day I've been waiting for a F'n tech to show up and install Direct TV. I want to be able to see Jets games. Any ideas? Do those big generic satellite receivers still work? Internet stream? Anything???

The NFl is very stingy with the TV rights so a simple answer, no.

Well, I feel a little better. Just got another $100 credit towards my future bill, if it ever does get installed. They didn't want to do a second $100 credit for another missed appointment, but I talked to a manager.

If this keeps up, it will be free for the next two years if it ever does get installed...

Looks like NFL network is the only way to get the preseason games, but there should be a way to get regular season games. I remember in the old days the big satellite dishes could pick up all kinds of stations around the country. I suppose it's all encrypted now though...

So what does that get you? You can actually what/listen to a game/tv on your phone? Do you plug your phone into your bigscreen???

I have Sprint... I wanted NFL network for the preseason Jets games, but also ordered NFL ticket so we would get the regular season games. It's what my wife wanted for her birthday. Go figure, she likes football more than me.

Yeah I added the $6.95 sports package to my Comcast services for just the two soccer channels and I'm getting the NFL channels now as well.

Comcast also added an HD NFL network channel this year. Every provider should have it by now.

I don't know if the ticket is really worth it anymore with all the Thursday/Saturday games. The only extra games you get with the ticket are Sunday noon/3:00 P.M. games outside of your market. Sunday night and Monday are ESPN/ABC. Thursday and Saturday are free or NFL network games.

We have time warner here, no NFL Network.

Guy finally came and I helped him with the install. Felt bad for him, his van looked like a heap and it must be a tough job. At least with my help the install wasn't too bad and the wife is happy with all the football coverage!
