294 on/off ramp heads up

it seems that in the past week many of the on and off ramps have had what i can guess are trafic sensors installed.

they are 12"x12" black plastic squares about 1" high. they seems to be in the center of the lane so cars can go over them but if you are doing some spirited driving hitting one while leaned over could be a bad thing.

keep and eye out and ride safe.

In addition, there have been a ton of popo positioned out of sight on the on ramps to I55 and other local streets. They have them positioned so you get clocked about 1/4 mile before you pass the ramp. They are positioned perpendicular to the e-way and clock you as you go by. Very sneaky and impossible to avoid.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."
