Cell Phone *does* cause brain cancer??

I can't find a linkable video of this, but Google search Fox News Russian Roulette. It's a video article about how studies have shown various cancers of the head are more likely from cell phone usage. It's a study over 10 years and seems to be more predominent in extra heavy cell phone areas like Scandinavia (where they have all but ditched land lines for cell use).

Here is at least an article about it. The video I think tells more:

I thought they busted this as myth years ago...now they are changing their minds?

Reminds me of how for years they said salt was good for you..then they changed it to salt was bad for you...now they are saying salt is good for you again, but only if it's sea salt.

Heh, back in the day when x-ray was first introduced to the public I heard they had live x-ray machines that you could view your feet in your shoes to determine if the fit was right.

+1. So far the only thing we use that doesn't cause cancer is toothpaste. I'm sure that'll be added to the list soon.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

remember when the dollar stores were selling that "illegal" toothpaste? I think it was for use in china...

I believe it had some of the chemicals of antifreeze in it (Diethylene glycol)... Which I guess is ok in china .. (they must not swallow as much as americans do) but got a good # of people sick here in the states...
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...061401946.html

and Mort... I bet that would actually be a decent defense against the microwaves/heat.. Aluminum dissipates heat quite well... Do you make your own tinfoil hats or buy them? .. oh.. but be sure not to eat it.. I understand that causes Alzheimers...

I wonder if amount of time has anything to do.. Wife was running up 300-400+ phone bills for a while when she wasn't on the unlimited plan... Working from home and sometimes sitting on 10+ hours of brain numbing conference calls a day.. on her cell phone.. ugh.
if the radiation didn't kill you.. 10 hours of listening to boring ass bank programmers in india will

have you figured out how to get the bubble to work when youre on the bike???. I already lined the helmet with foil so im good there, just can figure out how to keep the bubble either sealed and inflated as an attachment to the bike or keep it form filling up with exhaust fumes when the bike is in the bubble

Yes, it's similar to this design.

Tesla did it 100+ years ago
MIT did it.. like 5 years ago...
Intel is doing it now...

Tesla was brilliant but was screwed by Edison and GE... Hence penniless and unable to bring much to market...

MIT is a school... They bring some stuff to market.. more indirectly (perhaps in this case by way of intel) ... Think Roomba and iRobot etc...

Intel is worth 10s if not 100's of billions of dollars.. They thrive on bringing things to market... if they do this.. it could possibly be one of those world changing technologies... Not wheel big.. but... much bigger than wifi internet... and that made quite a bit of money...

I see no reason that this isnt going to be common place in the next few years... They state that while electric fields affect humans.. Magnetic ones do not... That said I have to imagine that depends at least in part to the strength and duration of exposure... and what about those of us that are partially metal? I had a very painful MRI experience once.. It sucked.

I am not saying they will do this and 5 years down the line everyone will get cancer.. I am saying this will come out.. and we will not know the full impact until many years down the line.

I find it fascinating.. and will definately be an early adopter.. That said I plan on offing myself sooner on a bike rather than later due to colon cancer.. So hopefully I'll beat the reaper.

whether they do or don't really doesn't matter to me. already have a family history of cancer and heart problems so i'll probably get it either way. as long as you live fine, i say do what you're doing. most of the stuff i hear about sounds more like they're just trying to scare all of us instead of actually help

HAHAHA Yeah you would think that except Bluetooth is also still on 2.4Ghz and in the range of 10-15mW of power, right into your head.
