Google Phone

So I was talking to the rep at T-Mobile for I am looking for a new phone. He said I should wait for the new google phone that apparently T-Mobile is picking up. Since now that T-mobile and Google combined forces.. what you think of this. The rep said they are hoping to get it in stores around Christmas time.
Now I don't know if that's the actual phone... but looks pretty slick.
Thoughts ?
Sorry if a repost. I did a search.

Bikes can be replaced...people can't...ride safe!!

the picture doesn't display on that page, it's just a red X.

A google image search comes up with several neat looking phones, however nothing is consistent that it's probably the phone.

and like anything else, the first release is probably going to be expensive and problematic. Look at all the iPhone people that jumped when it hit the market, only to have the price come down twice since it was purchased, sure they got some of the money back, but not all of it.

I dont see why the T-Mobile guy wouldnt sell you a phone. Is he in sales? Besides, you probably dont want to be in the first wave of people buying the phone. They will be way over priced and there will be many glitches to fix...

the google phone is rumored to be a wide open phone, so it would be able to work on any cell phone provider in the world.

google isn't coming out with a phone. they're pushing a software environment (Android) that they're trying to get hardware vendors to support and use for their phone's OS along with their tools for developing applications.
