bad traffic this am

so here I am in the eoe in bumper to bumper and it's after 10am which is not normal even in a snowstorm. I guess lake street if blocked off cuz it's flooded in parts. It's taken me 15 minutes to go from wright blvd to not quite meachem

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

I was on the phone with mopar this morning while he was driving to work and I heard the radio announcer list all the streets that were open, and they were all North/South streets. He's like "ummm....so how am I supposed to go east to work???"

wood dale is surrounded by closed streets. salt creek has turned into a river and the only way out is west. that is bad when you work 20 miles east.

294 was empty at about 915 this morning when i got on it because all of the onn ramps were under water.

ok so im driveing from DT naperville to auroa on jefferson and this suv slams on her brakes this morning then starts to do a 3 . turn and to go the other way.

im watching all the regular sized cars like mine just take turns driving down the center of the lane so its my turn i go and im like what a dumb soccer mom bitch. your in a SUV drive through the little puddle.

ok in actuallyity it was more then a puddle but if all the other regular sized sedans can make it a SUV would have zero problems and there really wasnt any waiting needed so her being in a rush wouldnt have played into it at all.

honestly If I was married and my wife would be dumb enough to to through some of the shit I seen this weekend I would make her buy her next vehicle... It's prolly a smart thing they did by turning around.

So we just got done doing a job not even 45 minutes ago and our cust wanted it taken downtown TODAY. I was like " it took me over an hour to go from schaum to elk grove today so we were going to hold off taking it till the morning. She is calling a messenger service to come pick it up. It's financially viable for me to take it downtown after this am's nighmare of traffic. We would spend more money in fuel and behind the seat getting it down there for them then we would normally charge them. Plus it's not worth the aggrivation to me to deal with this bullshit. I got things to do right after work and I can't be late for them

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

I'm glad I don't have to drive in this. The woman is headed up there now. She just called telling me 80/94 is closed from Cline to Calumet Ave, so she had to go around. 65 was pretty bad, because from here to 65/80 its about 3hrs. It took her 6

This morning was f'd up. I live two blocks from 290 but couldn't get on. I tried hitting Roosevelt but that was screwed up to. After going .5 miles in 45 minutes I turned around and went home. I ended up going in at around noon and it wasn't too bad then.

My name is JB, people call me JB

Holy crap!!!! It just took me 1.5 hours from Niles to Hoffman Estates!!! WTF man. Everything west bound was locked up so I finally gave up and shot north on 294 and then took Lake Cook all the way west to Barrington. Golf was closed off, Central was fucked, all the side streets were full of people like me trying to find relief from the mess. I heard Des Plaines is just a black hole but NOTHING compares to what I heard about the Bishop Ford on the radio. You couldn't get around the south side of the lake if your life depended on it!

Yeah, I'm told it was BAD. My girl had to get off on Cline, and it took her 1.5 HOURS to get from there just over to Torrence/rte. 83 to get back onto 80/94.
