Run-in with the punk kid down the street

So the last few days on my walks with my son there has been this 8-9 year old riding around the neighborhood on one of these...http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=3899477

He thinks he's pretty cool and all showing up my 2 year old son on his Spidey Scooter (complete with webshooters and simulated throttle...very cool) with his curb jumping and what not. Pffft.

So what do I do to save my little guy's ego...we come back with the pimped out murdered 50 to face off with this little park rat and man did he want to ride our 50. He refused a race and pretty much ran home after I tripled his jump length over the wood ship ramp he built. Sorry little man....go ask mommy/daddy for an upgrade for Xmas or something.

No one shows up my little guy.

BTW....I came across this cool Monster as well at WMT.

Why does the description have a "diesel sound"?

His little "brat buddy on the bmx bike" did make a comment how his older brother has an "80" and I was like....ooooooh big deal...you want me to come back with my 250 or 575?

Jake sits on the gas tank w dad....he needs at least another week until he's ready for solo.

Find a park with a chain rope and hold out a $20 and say you bet he can't bunny hop his bike over it.

I got to witness a couple of dopes do this in Westmont last week... Let's just say it's interesting how hast and hard one kisses the pavement when they miss

Me either

Good for saving your son's ego, but still... The showoff was only like 8 years old. How hard could it be?

Get your son out for solo practice, and then have him go back and show him up again. Now, that would be priceless

Harsh John, just harsh. I'm surprised you didn't put a stick in his spokes while you were at it.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.
