Sorry 'bout the bike. Keep an eye on craigslist and eBay to see if someone is either parting it out or trying to sell it. I'll try to keep an eye out as well.

If you're fully insured, do you really want it back?

Sorry to hear that. Are you sure it wasn't towed? If it was stolen it's probably long gone by now. Just take the check and pick up a new bike over the winter and look into Lojack or some other type of security system. Maybe rent a garage space.
That's life in the big city.

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.

+1 on posting pictures
+1 on checking with the city on towing
+1 on garage FTMFW ... my bike is outside of my office right now but I'm in the burbs, whenever I'm at home it's in my garage. I do have a bike outside at home right now, but you'd need a crane to lift it past my truck haha..

Had it in front of the house for an hour while I went to the store. had a Lo-Jack, but nothing yet. Checked with the city, wasnt towed...I'm sure it's gone, waiting on the check, guess its an excuse to get a new one right.

That sucks about the bike. Also kind of sad that LoJack is coming up with nothing. I have insurance through Progressive and they won't give any discounts on anti-theft devices unless it's a LoJack type system. But if they can't help you, I'm def not spending the money on it.

I'm taking this as he did have the system. Just a quick search on line is showing me the system costs $600, plus an annual maintenance fee. Thats more than the savings my insurance will give me.

So, why is lojack so great then? Don't you have to call the police to have the system activated?

Sorry to hear but I wouldn't want back if fully insured.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!
