Costume suggestions... good ones, please.

We're having a costume contest at work... and I would like to have a chance of beating the other girls... so, post up your suggestions!

Thanks!!!

We had a girl come to work with smarties sewn all over her jeans and she called her self a "smarty pants"

.... I felt kinda stupid coming to work as a tube of toothpaste after that one.

If you work with a bunch of guys... last year I went as "Eve" U can borrow it. You'd rock this costume:

Maybe lame, depending on your job.

Get a bucket, stick a $ sign to it. Dress in a business suit. A "Bailout Fund Manager."

Ya lame.

If you work with mostly guys, anything sexy/skimpy wins.

At my "day job" we're not dressing up... but I also work at a local bar & grill and they're having a seperate costume contest for the staff.

As you can imagine, creativity will be a plus since there won't be too many rules. My budget is not too large, and I will have to work in it... so I need to be somewhat comfortable...

Tina, I love your costume! You look great in it!!

Well, your day job can be any number of jokes, word play and bad puns ('corporate pirate' anyone?). Your imagination is the limit. Its lame to buy costumes and rely on typical archetypes (slut/nurse/nun/etc) but if you can take that costume and go the next level... now you're thinking. (head nurse is one wearing the knee pads... flying nun has 'American Airlines' logo on her headdress and so on).

Working at a bar/grill gives you more fun... you can dress up as a 'crappy customer' and wear pants with pockets pulled out and name tag of 'Ima BadTipper' and so on...

previous costumes for me include: captain shithead (with melted hershey bar on my head), 'stickerman' (with stickers all over my body and clothes, including NO PARKING stickers), AOL CD guy (with AOL CDs fishlined to a running jacket, very shiny and very heavy), and last year my girlfriend and I went as the heat miser and the snow miser

good luck!

Best joint to get any costume is Fantasy Headquarters in Chicago on Milwaukee.

I think its called fantasy costumes now.... I have been going there for 12 years.

But they have AWESOME wigs there too.... no matter the hair, you can get it under one of their wigs no prob.

Need 2009 suggestions or ideas... I've been too busy to plan and if I don't find an alternative, last year's costume will have to do... thanks!

You guys are great! Thank you.

I work for a mortgage company during the day, so that one is all set. (Poodle Skirt, pony tail, etc.)

It's my Dundee job wor which I need to find something creative and a bit on the sessy side.

Last year's costume was picked out by the regulars, but this year I have no new ideas... so, help me out!
