Emergency Appendectomy

As of 18:30 Monday night I am appendix free. Had some stomach pain like I posted about a coulpe times ago and this it was the real deal. Posting from hospital bed. Laproscopic might be better then old school surgery but fuck this still hurts.

Get to go home later today hopefully.

Ian

Heal up.

One tip, roll out of bed. Don't try the sit-up, swing out method.

I slept in the recliner, the first couple nights, after Gall Bladder surgery.

sorry to hear that your appendix busted, glad you are ok though that is a killer right there. Get Better soon ian.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

Cheers to uncomplicated appendectomy, good they got it on time. I had seen ruptured ones nobody would want.

Have a good healing.

Fuck getting better but slowly. I am now pretty much get out of bed un- assisted with out pain killers. My back is killing me from laying on it so much and not being able to comfortably sleep on my side. Might be time for a posturepedic foam mattress jobby. Flooring project is a time line disaster, I will post pics in the home improvement forum when I get a second. Going to try and go back to work on Monday, hopefully things will be better by then. I need a beer dammit.

Glad you are moving around OK.

As for the floor - simetimes you just gotta give in to unanticipated events that mess up the timeline. It will all be OK in the end if you heal up well first. You only get one body, while you can have many floors.

Heal up first.

Its hard to put work off, but you need to put things in perspective. Your no good to anyone if you injure your back because you not ready.
