Massage suggestions?

Not posting this to be leghumped... lol

Seriously though, I have had a horrble knot in my back all week, need to get it massaged out. Does anyone get massages and if so where? My old masseuse's house caught fire and his table went down in flames

Hoping to get an appt this evening.

I've been to Heavenly Massage a few times and they did a pretty good job. The young pretty girls have no experience nor the strength so try to get a slightly older one which has had a decent amount of experience. Then after the massage you get a private bathroom with a steamer in the shower stall. That in itself relaxes me all the way.

Stephiroth is a masseuse as well and I think she may be out by you.

I don't work for a Heavenly Massage, but wow - I'm offended by the "young pretty girls have no experience nor the strength" comment. Sorry, you may have had a bad experience with a young pretty girl, but not all are inexperienced and weak.

redhdgrl - if I didn't have class tonight, I'd gladly help you out. PM me if you're interested for future massages.

If you're near the city try "Soma" massage therapy school - google them.

It's $25 an hour, by a student. They seem to really know what they're doing - take a more clinical perspective which is good IMO.

good luck.

+1 on Heavenly Massage. Went to the one in Morton Grove and got a DTM. Felt great, didn't get tickled.

RAWR! If you don't like my opinion the so be it but I call it like I see it. I did not say I had a "bad" experience with the younger ones but I did say the older ones have more experience especially if they've been doing it for a while. I'm paying the same price for either so why would I want the younger inexperienced one? For PC's sake? pppppssssssshhhhhhhh

I have so much to say.. Sorry for "rawr-ing" at you, but it's rough being in this industry with all the stereotypes that people have. Younger does not mean inexperienced. Schools have a lot of older people that are just changing their career cause they are bored with their current life...

You never know what you're going to get, so you can't go on assuming that because they're young they suck...

Again, sorry.

You know...between this and the "steamer in the shower", if I didn't know you were talking about massages, I'd think you were into some freaky shit. Not to mention that you're paying for it.

I have actually been told I give AWESOME massages.

I was going to go to school to get my license but I just kind of pushed it into the back of my mind.

I went to the chiropractor to get an ultrasound on my back only because I have scoliosis (you can't tell though), and it helped out a lot with reducing all the inflammation.
