Why do dogs bark at motorcycles?

Anybody know why most dogs hate bikes? Every time im riding most dogs go nuts and try to chase me. Sometimes even my own dog flips out before he realizes its me especially if hes in a car. Dogs are awesome.

noise, my dog freaks out on loud cars too. She doesn't bark too much but acts sort of aggressive, like she wants to chase it but since she knows she's not suppose to she kind of jumps straight up in the air

You guys should have seen the dog we encountered in Wisconsin on saturday. It just casually strolled across the road in front of us and gave up this dumb look while still standing in the middle of the road as we swerved around it.

I don't know why they do but one almost got me. He jumped out from behind a car and almost bit my leg. Then he chased me down the street to the corner. Then I had to blow the red light so I wouldn't get mauled.

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.
