Fun, fun, fun!

Been there done that.

I had to attend sessions with the priest to educate me on my responsibilities of being a Godparent. Two or three sessions, I forget.

Bust out your checkbook and ask the pastor how you can speed up the process.

You'll be amazed how well that works.

I love walking into a catholic church and dipping my fingers in the holy water. Then, I scream out in pain, "It burns!! It burns!!!". My mom kicked the crap out of me for that one.

When my daughter was baptised, her father and his mother insisted on catholic. When we went to their parish they wouldn't do it because we weren't married.

We ended up going to the Catholic Ste. Therese shrine in Darien and she was baptised by a monk, only one godparent was catholic, no tests, no classes. Done deal.

The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character

ask the pastor or priest who died and made him judge jury and execommunicator.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

Convert to Judism. Problem solved.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

I'm a recovering Catholic, I really don't see the point in all the man made rules that the Catholic Church has. My Church doesn't baptize babies, they do a Dedication where the parents pledge to raise the child to know God. They then Baptize the child when the child is old enough to understand whats going on. It just seems to me to be a better way.

My Gear saved my life.
