So some jackass stole my girlfriend's cellphone yesterday. She had the service cancelled immediately, but noticed a phone number appeared in the outgoing calls history on her account right before the phone was disabled. I have that number and called it, a man picked up and I faked a 'wrong number'.
I'm assuming this criminal was dumb enough to call a friend or family member with the phone. Hell, maybe he was stupid enough to call his own phone to 'test' it. Any ideas? The phone is gone and judging of her description of the theif he's probably not the type of person worth 'looking for' over a stupid electronic device.
But still, I have that number. Any good ideas on extracting further information from it?
