Post Brooks & Dunn Concert (10/16)"(Not 56k Safe)"

So I was getting ready to leave work yesterday about 4:45 and I get a call from Kayde (koolaid). She said she's going to skip her nightly workout after her appointment she was going to. Confused as to why, she asked me if I wanted to go do something fun for the night instead of go to the gym. I ask her what she had in mind, she said she just got some tickets to go see Brooks and Dunn. I called B.S., but sure enough, we went down to Tinley Park and got to go see a great show last night.

This was really cool for me because the last project I worked on back in South Dakota was for the traveling video displays for Brooks and Dunn (Andy and Kelly - might have told you about this the other night). Either way, I moved here before i got to see them in action - so I got to see them in their full glory last night. I took a video of it, and if you put it in high quality, it's better but that requires you to go to the you tube site. Worth checking out to see the video content on the video displays. I'm such a proud parent - their design was all mine and they are my babies! Oh, and did I mention the tickets were 5th row, dead center??

This was the song "Only In America". It not shown in the stills, but the flags were actually waving in the back ground. Then towards the end of the song, they brough out soldiers and then shot over the crowd.

And since I know some of you guys would have gotten pissy if I mentioned the good looking backup singers and didn't post pics - I took some photos of them too...

Oh yeah - I forgot to tell you guys that ZZ Top was there too...

Looks like it was a good time. Good job on the screens. They look pretty good.
Where were the pics of the "good looking" back up singers?

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.

When I read "good looking back up singers" I was thinking Miranda Lambert or Taylor Swift looking girls. I'm not saying the ladies were ugly. Just a little old for my taste. But I do like the chaps and booty shorts.
How was the crowd? The hottest girls go to country concerts. Too bad it was cold.

Any good mullets in the crowd? Women with black eyes? Any bald guys with goatees with sheep hair on their jeans?

Dante: [to Randal] You never go ass-to-mouth!
Randal: [to Dante] Would you grow up!
Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Did you take any pictures? I know I was really spoiled with the tix that i got, but how was the view from the lawn? We got there a lil late and it was really dark out so I didn't even know they had a lawn. Either way, It was a really neat venue! How did the displays look from back there??

The crowd had a lot of energy, and the hotties came out once ZZ Top started. I had a blonde MILF standing next to me who was about 5'10 or so, no ring, and a great body. No pictures taken since g/f was standing on the other side of me...

Also had a hottie who was drunk behind me having a great time, but again... no picture

I saw a lotta camo, overbent ballcaps, cans of chaw w/spitter bottles, and lotsa beer being consumed, but too dark to see sheeps hair, haha!

I WISH it was that kinda smoke last night... but just smoke machines this time. DMB a couple months back was a completely different story...

I was there last night as well,...we had lawn tickets, but we found seats in the back of the pavilion

3rd time I seen Brooks n Dunn..great show as always...seen them twice @ Country Thunder.

Rodney Atkins was good as well. Zz top I wasn't a fan of.

So jealous your seats were so close!
