I'm having a bad day because I'm sick and I can't take a sick day due to lack of personel and training the newbie.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Because other people get paid to do customer service bullshit but unfortunately it doesn't get done and I spend frickin hours trying to help people instead of selling.

I'm commission only.... Don't sell = don't eat.

Don't suppose they'll fork over $$ to me for doing their jobs.

When something goes wrong my boss tells CSR's that it was my fault, and they come to me and tell me when I never had a part in the damn problem to begin with even before there was a problem.

Whether or not this is 100% true, who knows. I would hope that it's not.

Having 5 major projects dumped on you all at the same time, with the completion and quality of said projects directly affecting your pay increase, and being two people short on staff....all the while wondering if your planned time off for your birthday next month is going to be shit-canned.

The truth of the matter is, if you're a generally crabby, half glass kinda person, you'll likely always be this way.

This place sucks because the most incompetent get the promotions and the money, screw up basically everything they touch and don't do a single productive thing for years at a time.

That's a good point, and I find it to be true.

True, if the pay were better, than I wouldn't hate this place so much.

But here, if you are smart and a good worker you get more and more petty work dumped on you than you can even get done in a full work day.... if you're a dumbass/incompetent, you get work taken off your hands, but still get paid the same.

It's crap.

Like I said, I am a very happy, cheery, goofy person outside my work.

what does that have to do with finding a job that you enjoy? Suck it up and work until you find a new job that you don't cry a river about on the daily and voila, kids/mortgage/pets/drug habits are not put off.

And where does it say that my original post was towards you? I think you have me confused with someone that actually gives a flying squirrels cock and nuts about people who cry about their jobs.

As for the drug habits, that was just a bonus-you know you don't do drugs, so why would you assume the post was about you?

There are millions of people out there that would KILL for the jobs some people are whining about.

I know Mannheim is hiring at the moment. I believe 2 are on leave; one just gave birth to a baby boy, the other is getting her teeth fixed.
