Poker Set...

Hey everyone... Ok i have a quick question and I need so much help with it...
I am trying to buy a 600 chip poker set for a friend on his birthday but here is the thing.... I am clueless about poker!!

I mean what I am looking for is a good set, chips like the ones in las vegas not the plastic ones. Is there a web site where I can get them from or can anyone help me out and tell me where i can shop for them? And what are they talking about when they say... 11.5g or 13.5g poker set!!

Thanks a mil for the help!

Chip weight is what the gram measurement means. You want at least 9gr for a decent chip.

Do a google search on "poker chips" and start there. I'll warn you, it can get exhausting.

Costco has some decent sets too!

Heavy weight clay chips, and KEM cards.

I think there is a World Champion Poker kit you can get that will have everything you need to get started, all in a nice case.

Or wait for Wink to chime in...he's like a walking Poker Rule book.
