Remote Starters

Want to get one for the winter this year since my car is kept outdoors all year long. So what is a good one to get? Post the link to it.
I am not looking for something for like $200, but more like $70-100.

All of them come with key less entry. I don't need that, just one thing that turns the car on from how ever far away. My key has the key unlock and lock buttons on there... it's a Honda Accord.

Hey, next time he asks you to clean the snow off, do him a favor and not only wipe the snow off of the windows, but do the whole body as well. that should put a smile on his face.

I've had a Viper remote start system in the Tundra since 06. I like it. I got it at Best Buy for like 2-300 installed. Worked pretty well, but the remote fob is kinda chunky. I only use it in winter for that reason. now that the temp is in the 30's at night, I'll be switching remotes from the stocker very soon.
Range is decent, I've had it work from a few block away on occasion. It'll definitely work from inside the house.

it has a nice auto shut-off feature, so that if you forget about it or get held up, it'll shut the vehicle down after 20 minutes. I used that a few times when sleeping in the truck at BHF or wherever when it was cold. I'd turn it on with the remote and have the heat blasting and fall back asleep without worrying that it'd be out of gas in the morning.

Some of their new systems look pretty cool

Just go to cicuit city and chunk down some money and let them do it. they warranty work and they used to transfer it if you buy a new car. Pony up for keyless too. Why have 2 key fobs? Oh wait a women asked this. They have to have keychains that weigh a ton!

I don't want 2. My key in attached in my key fobfor my Honda. That's why I don't want a huge thing for the remote starter... get with the program here.

And the reason we like key chains is because we like hitting lil boys like you... they hurt

Yes- maybe not this exact one, but I did get it at pepboys for about 60 bucks three years ago....it was on my old beater car, but it worked fine and I never had any issues with it.

first off, what year is your honda? if it's remotely new, you need more than just the remote start for it to work.

secondly, don't buy cheap shit. and don't let pep boys install anything like that on your car.

unless you plan on doing it yourself, you're going to have to pay ~$200ish minimum, however without getting keyless entry hooked up, your factory remote WILL NOT work when the vehicle is running on remote start so you'll have to either leave it unlocked or enter by using the key.

it's an 05 Honda Accord.

So I can start the car from the house, car is still locked. When I get to the car I have to use the key, and can't use key fob? But if it's not started by the remote starter it will be like normal? Right?

Huh? I leave my tahoe running and use the key fob to lock and unlock the doors every morning when I drop my kids off.
