Here for (1) More Year

Had lunch with one of the four founders of my new company (he is also our Nat'l Sales Director) and we discussed the S Cal Market and me - He is drawing up the paperwork that states if I achieve "x" in 12 months, the company will re-locate me to their S Cal Market which is their largest and strongest market

We are expanding our Sales Division to include "National Acct Mgrs" which means you get 1 maybe 2 Accts to handle on a Nationwide basis - I.E American Express, NYSE, etc etc - Their top reps are out of S Cal and would be promoted into this new role hence leaving the best territories open for new reps, ME!!!

Now I just gotta bust ass and show them what I can do and why they hired me in the first place - Called my realtor and told her to pull my listing - She was not happy but pretended to be

One more winter

Awww, love you guys too

My original plan of saying "Fuck It" and moving when the pad sells is off - I REALLY like my new company and am honored that my Dir made me this offer/challenge

Chicago is not that bad.

I had to pull back on my plans to move to San Diego too. Not a year but in will be a while (maybe), not a lot of job movement in this economy.

sounds like a good deal except the whole staying in chicago for the winter part. hehhe seriously though, keep your head down and rock that job.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

These are the new leads. These are the Glengarry leads. And to you they're gold, and you don't get them.

Why? Because to give them to you would be throwing them away.

They're for closers.

Good luck!
