Snow Showers in Lake in the Hills

Just finished mowing for the year and I was rewarded with snow showers. More like rain/hail/snow showers, but hey, close enough. Change of the seasons starts today!

I didn't get any snow, just a quick sprinkle.

Yeah it was snowing for a little bit. I didn't want to mow in the snow and god awful wind so I didn't get to do my end of year mowing yet. Tomorrow night.

I was outside all day. It rained and hailed when I was at my son's halloween scout picnic and then it really cam down latr while I was doing yard work. I don't need to mow anymore this year. This week will be spent excavating half the yard to finish leveling the grade so my dogs can play in the mud the rest of the year.

Little snow pellets here, but just for about 10 seconds. It looked like Styrofoam.

I got hit with hail today around 5. What really sucked was my face shield is busted so I got hit by the hail at 40+.
