I gotta big favor to ask...

I took my bike home this weekend and took it right to LVC to fix a clutch oil leak. When I had it serviced in the summer the wrong size O-ring was put in, so at high speed/RPM my bike spits oil real bad. After my 100 mile drive back from Bloomington, I conveniently had oil alllll over my boot, pant leg, and left side of my bike.

Anyways, my favor is a strange one. My bike may be done at a time when I can't make it back home to get it from the shop. None of my friends that ride will be around and I definitely don't want to pay LVC to store it. I was thinking if it came down to it, would someone from Naperville or close that would be able and willing to be able to take my bike from LVC to my house? It sounds stupid, but I really have no way to get it home. Obviously, I would ask my dad to meet you there, and make sure it gets home and stuff.

I'm not sure this is necessary but if it comes down to it this might be my only option. Post here and/or PM me and I'll keep in touch and let you know if I need the help. It'd be much appreciated, thanks fellas.

If I'm reading this right... parents house is in Naperthrill, you're away in Bloomington?

The right way is not always the popular and easy way. Standing for right when it is unpopular is a true test of moral character

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

yeah sorry for the confusion, I live in Naperville, near 75th and Washington, but am currently at school in Bloomington.

Tony - do you think LVC would do something like that for free...? I really don't need to waste a bunch of money having some dude ride my bike 3 miles.

I'll keep you guys in mind, Fire and selston. I really appreciate it guys. I'll keep you updated on if/when it needs to be done.

Hell... I'm crazy and might be able to do this as long as I have a way back to the dealer.

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!
