Here's a hint for you Paul, this pilot doesn't need one of those fancy parachutes when there is a failure.

HOLY SHIT!!!

Good use of the elevators for a rudder, and the rudder as an elevator. I would have died if I would have been the PIC.

Possible with an acrobatic spec ( overpowered ) plane.

There are points in the video that are concerning.

Also no reference anywhere on the web to the sponsor / school whatever.

Not sure it's real..... fairly sure it's possible.

As long as it's not on a treadmill.

That is for sure possible on over powered 3d Aerobatic planes. I have personally seen it on 30% RC models.

this vid is definately fake

the pilot that flys for futaba has done it for real, on a RC plane. it is possible in an rc plane of this type, however not possible in a full size plane, the internal structures are completely different.

real plane loses a wing... it ends in a crash
rc plane... it will highly likely end in a crash

I can do it in a sim, Ill try and get it to do the video record thing
Ive done it simulated numerous times with several different aircraft, biggest thing you need is copious amounts of rudder authority
