Thank You CLSB - Great '08 - Best Season Ever

Well, the bikes are away, GP is done and I just finished watching Bayliss end his career - This all caused me to look back on my best riding season ever - Starting with the KTM new in Mar to the purchase of a Harley Davidson (which still baffles me) and all the great rides in between due greatly in part to all of you

The Gap - The F4T's - Paul's Ride - Troy's XX Ride - The season ending 650+ mile in (1) day ride - Drinking with some of you fools in a Huricane named Indy GP and all the in between jaunts - All great memories to get me through another winter - I know someone will post "I ride till the snow flies" or "still more track days" and I say hats off and good on ya - My steeds are of course gone for a few months

Thx Kiddies - I got to meet and ride with many new folks this season and of course logged many miles with my usual crew - Not sure what '09 will hold for me in the bike category but even my worst case being a KTM all fixed and ready for more leans and beat ons - That bike allowed me to ride better than I ever have in the past and provide me with my favoritest season ever - I learned a lot on that bike and cannot wait to learn even more

Thanks again to all who know who you are! - Now, we drink!

We should start a tradition at the end of the year for one last big ride to celebrate a successfull season. Or Ody should host a party at his house and we can all be invited if we participated in a ride.

Sees your Scotch and finishes a glass of Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio and puts a pinch tween the cheek and gum of Skoal Apple and spits to you! (I mean that in the classiest of ways)

Thats kind of what that last 650 + day was - We all had the thought in the back of our head that it was going to be the last biggie of the season and for me, it was

Right on! We had more accidents this year than last, but I enjoyed the rides much more. Good year. I still have another 40 days or so with the Goldwing before I put her up. The sport bikes are tucked away, however

Here, here!!!

This has been an amazing season for me. After cruising on a Vulcan 800 for 4 seasons, I discovered and bought my FZ6 back in March... stumbled upon CLSB in May, and haven't looked back since!

I hear youu Bug. This has to be one of the best riding seasons as the Gap/NC trip was the best ever. ABC rides, out of state rides, and trackdays all over the country is the cherry on my sunday. Like Ashwin said the year is not over with a trackday down a Tally in a couple of weeks.

BTW that sandwich was great last night Bug haha

was a good year, didn't log as many miles as I would have liked and I've got a feeling that traveling now for work I'll be logging a few less in the years to come, oh well I guess thats life.

20,450 miles this season, starting with the short ride during that nice day in january.

The F5T in june started all my multiday/out of state trips. Many, many trips to MN and others to SW WI and surrounding area in IA. Went through 2.5 sets of tires, 1.5 sets of brake pads and nearly 540 gallons of fuel at a cost of ~$2100.

Group rides lead to meeting many of you. Looking forward to many future group rides next season.
