anyone into nostradamus quatrains, something i just remembered.

wondering if anyone has some time to check out the latest ones with any of the current affairs of the world, economy, presidency etc.

as most of us knows the myan calendar ends 2012 and so does the nostradamus quatrains can someone with some time find some of them that pertain from this year till till the end of the world?

i am starting to remember tid bits of a history channel show on his whole life and all his predictions and what they possibly meant. "saw its a few times over the last decade"

i am thinking holy shit if what i remember was right and whats going on around us.

thanks.

I believe it mentioned something about a person being elected that takes all our guns under the guise of making the country safer than initiates a holocaust.

oh wait maybe it was another holocaust, that one sounds familiar.

from that books site

Quote:
Using cutting-edge data mining techniques, Dr. Rathford sifted this complex word puzzle searching for significant patterns and relationships. Almost immediately, he came up with the predictive model known as The Nostradamus Code.

When the prophecies-within-prophecies are deciphered, the hidden timeline of World War III is revealed. A sample of the new predictions includes:

* A conflict between the US and Russia
* The next major terrorist attack on the US
* Osama, Obama and "Mabus"
* The nuclear destruction of Rome
hah I need to call that guy up and get some lottery #'s
perhaps he can use "cutting edge data mining techniques" to plot me the lottery #'s of the future! hahaha

wikipedia says
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_calendar
he Mesoamerican Long Count calendar forms the basis for a New Age belief, first forecast by José Argüelles, that a cataclysm will take place on or about December 21, 2012, a forecast that mainstream Mayanist scholars consider a misinterpretation, yet is commonly referenced in pop-culture media as the 2012 problem. [12][13]

"For the ancient Maya, it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle," says Sandra Noble, executive director of the Foundation for the Advancement of Mesoamerican Studies, Inc. in Crystal River, Florida. To render December 21, 2012, as a doomsday or moment of cosmic shifting, she says, is "a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in." [14]

If I remember correctly it all starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes,
an aeroplane.... and Lenny Bruce remains unafraid throughout the whole thing....

So.. as long as all of those things don't happen... I think we should be fine

OH MY GOD!
I started doing a bit more research into what happens at the end of the world... It was written many years ago and it looks like all of the prophecy are now coming true!!

I will do a little bit of a Nostradamus-like interpretation

You can take anything and find anything in it if that's what you want to see.. and you have even a teensy weeensy imagination (i dont have that much and i could have pulled at least another half dozen sections out and made smart ass "interpretations" of it) and mine were no more a stretch than most of the Nostradamus stuff is

just as one real example.. witness the falling of the twin towers... hundreds of years before it happened.. Here is the quote.. (translated obviously)

Chicken Little, Y2K, The dawn of Aquarius, Nostradamus, Revelations. Even Harry Chapin (song:The Rock).
