Booking last minute vegas deals?

For my buddies 30th bday I was thinking of taking him out to Vegas for a couple nights either this weekend or next. Not looking to spend a ton of cash I figured there should be some good last minute deals. Now I'm not sure if Tuesday isn't last minute enough, so maybe the rates take a magical drop later on in the week. Any suggestions? Mid December so far looks like you can get out there and stay at a nice hotel for 2 nights with air fare for somewhere in the low $300 range. Any suggestions? Is searching Thursday night the key or something? I was thinking this weekend or next otherwise to just get him some other gift.

How you found us: I google myself regularly

also, travelocity has a great "last minute deals" section-- if you book airfare + hotel + car you can save a lot of $$. click on "last minute packages" on the top of the page.

you an save more money in vegas if you are there on a weekday. Weekends tend to be expensive.

If you can find an airfare for $300 or less, you have found a good deal. You won't get near the $200 mark.

Don't check bags, or else you will pay a bag check fee.

I always find the best deal for the nicest property at mirage and monte carlo. There are nicer (and worse) all depends on what you can live with.

And make sure to get a coupon booklet to save a few bucks on a hooker.

We've got some good promotions going on for Vegas.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!
