Any military members using it? It's basically a jabber client, authorized for use on gov computers. Not sure if adding someone to the buddy list is limited to .gov accounts only or any jabber account yet. Which brings me to another question, anyone on jabber right now that wants to try to add me to their buddy list and send me an IM?

army has AKO and it has a chat client, but i never used it cuz anyone i need to talk to army wise i do a face to face or email/phone.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

we have equivelent to that in the air force, AFIM, but this is multi-branch. And I'm hoping that it's also compatible with other jabber servers, which would mean military to non-military connection.
