Where can you get a Riblet sandwich?

I had a very tasty riblet sandwich at ribfest. I don’t usually eat meat, anyway, pork is the “other” white meat, I don't eat beef. I enjoyed it very much and I wanted to go back yesterday and get another one, but ribfest was over

So where can a person go to eat a really good rib sandwich?

A few in the Naperville/ Aurora area to try. Smoky Bones outside Fox Valley mall (along Rte. 59) IMO has one of the best sauces. Red Hot & Blue on Ogden Ave. and Royal St. George (outside the strip mall there) also has a great BBQ. Then there's always Famous Dave's on Ogden as well further down the road by Iroquios that is a favorite of the locals as well. All three usually are at Ribfest every year as well.

Most of the REAL Rib sands there are hacked off the bone with a boucher knife then placed on bread. The best place for ribs and once you have them you will agree, then win in chicago for the best ribs just about every year. They are on North Ave and Addison Rd in Villa Park just south of North Ave on Addison which is 3 miles from your work not even 1 mile from Strats.

The name is Gryo Express, if you don't like them I will pay for it

Good luck with you search Anna.

The booth that had the best sandwich, the joint is in Texas... it was the one of the corner booths. Brian had a rib sandwich from another booth and it wasn't as good as mine. Then the next day we went and had others somewhere else, they were not as good as the one I had from ribfest. The meat was BBQ and a little blackened on the edges and almost crunchy, the meat was a thin patty, the sauce was sweet, not spicy, and the bun was soft sesame not the one for an Italian beef sandwich.

Hopefully I'll find one that is as good, I don't think I can wait a year to have a good rib sandwich

Just a FYI, Smoky Bones, Red Hot & Blue and Famous Dave's do not sell rib sandwiches. I checked their menus on-line. If a BBQ place doesn't sell a rib sandwich, then who does?

I had the McRib last night @ McDees - it's OK

Where was the place that you got your sandwich from....I could have sworn that it was # 15. 15 was Desparado's but, from thier site, it does not look like they have a rib sandwich.

I got a call, and the listing of vendors on their site correspond to the booth that they are at. Booth #15 is the 15th on the list. No, not from TX.

PS. Clean out your hot box!
