Got rear-ended tonight

Well I just got finished with my accident. I was rear-ended on Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Causeway and being the foreigner I had no clue what anybody was saying. All I know is I had some scared Bahraini coming up to me in very broken English say 'Sorry, Sorry'.

I think I got hit at somewhere around 25-30 mph. I was at a stand still and next thing I know my car gets rocked and I shoot forward. It was rush hour and I'm glad I didn't get hit far enough out to get nailed by another vehicle. No injuries on my part thankfully.

The first think I did was call our government liason guy that comes from a money family here in Bahrain and he hooked me up. Whatever he said to the cop and the other guy really seemed to rattle the guy. My little Nissan's back end was crumpled. He made a phone call to Budget and they brought me out another car no questions asked. I asked what he said and he just smiled and said 'It's taken care of'. It's kinda of crazy to have a guy wearing a dish dasha and headgear that takes care of shit like this with a few phone calls.

Well time to crack a beer and get to bed.

CLASSIC!
