where can i get a boat in a bottle

Anyone know where i can get a premade boat in a bottle? My internet search is not going well, the only guy that made them stoped in 2004.

I am looking for a "31" Grand Banks" in a bottle.

Willard: When I was home after my first tour, it was worse. I'd wake up and there'd be nothing. I hardly said a word to my wife, until I said "yes" to a divorce. When I was here, I wanted to be there; when I was there, all I could think of was getting back into the jungle.

Try Ships Chandler in Mt Prospect. I think they are still in business and I think they have pre made stuff. You are going to pay for it though, they are hand made. Guy that runs the joint used to be Wayne.

There is a new store here in Wood Dale where I work that just opened called "Barbary Coast" or something. There is a life-sized, peg-legged pirate statue standing out front. I think they are closed right now, but I'll take a look-see tomorrow and see if they have anything.

I finally got a chance to stop in to the new shoppe in town. Not only do they have a couple of ships in bottles (they had a Cutty Sark in a bottle and a blown glass ship in a bottle when I was there), but they also have just the ships in all different sizes along with all kinds of nautical and pirate themed, excellent quality gifts/collectibles. When I spoke with one of the owners, he also led me to believe that they could find/get you something you are looking for if you are looking for something more specific.

Here is their information:

The Barbary Beach
Nautical Gifts & Decor Shoppe
238 E. Irving Park Rd., #103
Wood Dale, IL
Phone: (630) 616-8711
Email: [email protected]
Website: www.barbarybeach.com

Hope this helps!!!
