1986 Honda CR500R - Logan Square - 1500$ obo

Selling off my "project" bike.. and I use that term very loosely... It has been more of a storage bike..

From what I was told all it needs is a carb cleaning and it's good to go.

I was going to list it on ebay for 500$ no reserve and just see where it went (1500$ seems to be average selling price.. So i figured I'd set it there..... as Ebays new listing policy is a crock of shit.. 100$ no matter what the selling price is as soon as it gets a bid.. 7$ more if you want a reserve.. I am not paying 100$ on a 500$ sale price .. SO I started up a bit higher.. In any case.. Obviously.. Make an offer.. Prices are lower to CLSB people (unless someone else is already offering more cash )

He never called

Hey Vcook, thought you were gonna move this?

It doesn't have to be in the for sale section.
Doesn't matter to me

Still kinda bummed he didn't call. My wife is guessing he is 15.. I was a bit on the fence if it was a friend screwing with me

gconsier that is funny shit. Back when I was selling my wife's scooter I had a guy tell me that I'm a pussy for not having a Harley and riding a scoter. He was so gracious to offer to come kick my ass.

“The shapes and beauty of the motor are very important to me. Older bikes have beauty. Modern bikes…I don’t have any favorite shapes.”

Anything is street legal if you don't get caught.
Most of our bikes aren't if you do

all that said.. I don't know how hard it would be to make street legal.. I was planning on putting slicks on it and making it a motard bike.. but that said.. From what I know of the CR500R it's not exactly a "forgiving" bike and my previous experience in highsiding have all been quite negative.. SO I am not sure that is something I would like to do a lot more of..

I think there are some new gaskets in the bin

but I am not sure..

I guess that gives some clue as to how long it's been sitting.. those are from mar 04
