Free Lab Puppy! (She's spoken for!)

I picked up this pup from a couple young friends that just weren't ready for a puppy. I've only had her a little while, and I think she's a great little girl.
She was 10 weeks on 4/21/08, so I'd put her at nine months. She's smart, and seems to be housebroken. I have some paperwork, but not much. I'll find out more in a little while

I would love to keep her, but I don't have the room for another dog. If I can't get her into a home by sunday, she'll be headed to a rescue monday.

She's free to A GOOD HOME. I would likely want to take a ride and see her new home.

That's a good-looking dog. I'll ask around. Labs are great dogs.

Want me to post something up on the boards at NIU? I graduated, but still keep in contact with a few people.

When the pepper spray runs out, can I have your number?

Feel free to post anywhere. I'd love to have her gone TODAY! One of my coworkers works with a lab rescue, and I'll be getting the process started today.

She spent the night at my place last night, and did very well. I forgot how much energy puppies have.

She caged ok, she bitched for a while, but it was likely just from being in a new place. At the moment she does seem a bit needy, I had to keep a hand on her most of the evening before bed. She has some rough training, and will listen to her commands for the most part. With a very small amount of work she'll be an awesome dog.

I have her vaccination record. She's had-

distemper
adenovirus 2
parainfluenza
parvovirus
leptospira
coronavirus

She doesn't have a rabies shot, and needs her dewclaws removed. I would have her spayed, but that's me.

...wish we could take her, but we just got a pup, and I doubt the older lab would get along with her (female as well...pretty aggressive with other dogs)

I'll see if anyone's willing to take her though

Not yet.

I want to get her to somebody that looking for a dog, if that doesn't work, I'm gathering info for a lab rescue. If I don't find a rescue that will take turn ins, she will be headed to a no kill shelter. No matter what, she'll be gone today.

My neighbors are looking for a dog and I told them about this Lab. They will let me know later today.

Crap crap crap!!!! If you don't have anyone take her let me know. My mom has a no-kill animal farm in southern Missouri and if I decide not to keep her I can bring her down there and she will be a very happy dog (250+ acres with about 100 acres fenced in for running and playing).

Sometimes your knight in shining armor is just a retard wrapped in tin foil.

Great News and glad it worked out
