let's start thinking of how to make money now and the future! Let's focus

ok we all know what's going on around us. Our economy our jobs our way of life has been or will be affected further from all this.

Instead of sulking being depressed or pissed.

Let's talk about how we can pull together, figure out how make money from this. What professions will be least affected by this all infact which will be secure to own or work for. Instead let's look how to pick ourselve up and push through this. It's tough out there trust me I know!!

Discuss.

This is true...we do contract packaging and one of our customers is one of the largest alcohol distributors in the US. We have been packaging all their gift packs for the holiday season. But they haven't slowed up at all with the other stuff we do for them.

Isn't it the freakin' weekend yet???

Ball bearings, it's all ball bearings these days.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

That's a good point. I should probably call the local police and find out if there is a crime wave going on out where I live.

And make sure my alarm actually dials the cops when it's triggered ... not that it will make any difference ... they probably had to sell their cop cars and use bicyles instead ... gosh this economy sucks.

Clearly, your just posting this thread to exploit and profit from my amazing ideas.

Well here you go. To succeed in todays market you need to find a solid balance between "cutting edge" products, and good old profitable standbys. This being said, the possibilities are endless!! Try it out...

- 3G tennis shoes
- Industrialized bikinis
- Touchscreen Auto Glass
- Bread "Now with Haptic Feedback!"
- 1.5 Terrabyte Contact Lenses, with Push email
- WiMAX Condems
- Virtualized Underwear (one of my favorites)
- 1080p Chewing Gum
- "Ultra Mobile" HVAC units

This shit is easy. Someone want to pay me 15.7 million a year to keep going?

So, criminal defense work, own a bar on the side, and invest in plumbing business. Marry an doctor or a mortician and you're good to go!

Not bad. But a strip club where you can drink and buy sammiches is a better idea because it hits more points at the same time.

The best thing I've seen with co-workers was a storefront web site that did reselling of other vendor's stuff. No inventory, no debt. Just a web site and the orders are forwarded automatically and fulfilled by others. They get a commission on each order. A guy I worked with at one of the TV networks was able to quit his day job as a result.

Not sure how this will go in the down economy, with folks buying less stuff.

Seems like there's something to be had on anything relating to the aging demographic of the Baby Boomers. Yeah, health care, funerals, insurance?

With taxation becoming a growing issue, I've met people that look to foreign places to take their money too. Philippines, Central America... Maybe the extra services can be offered there with a lower retail cost but have better profitability because of less legal and tax overhead.

After that...fuel line magnets would have been good several months ago.
