Gas station prices all over the place.

So I was just In west Chicago and it was about 1.95, but then in bloomingdale it was 2.10 and then Roselle it was 1.99. What the fuck? I was actually seeing gas cheaper in crook county at times vesus Dupage. And then I walked in and bitched to the guys inside to check their numbers and they refused. LOL god I hate that crap. Talking about gouging the customers. But hey, at least it's cheaper these days. Just wish weather was better so I can go rip up the streets on the bike. Or my damn chevelle was finished

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

I hope gas prices are cheap in March. I don't have a car so gas prices between mid November and March don't really concern me.

I don't really see $0.15 as being a huge swing in gas prices?? And frankly, I'll take $2.10 any day

I heard $1.76 this morning in New Lenox. I'll bet there are some long lines for that. I keep hearing that this is a "temporary reprieve". What exactly does that mean? Four bucks again early next year? Diesel prices are even more unstable, it seems.

I just saw $1.79. On Renwick and Weber.

I came here to drink some beer and kick some ass. And it looks like we are all out of beer.

a few months ago you could drive a half hour and see a 80 cent difference. 15 cents isn't anything at all.

Not worth the $2-5 diff for fill-up to even post let alone ream the gas station attendant. Why not raise a stink at Jewel when their Campell's soup is 0.20 more than Woodmans or Meijer?

i can't imagine a quick return on fuel prices. One benefit of the economic downturn is that we should see cheap fuel prices until things start to get better. I would be very suprised if they stayed below $2 through next summer.

If you have an iPhone, you can pull up a google map of your current location and it'll map out all the nearby gas stations and show their prices.

The app is called gasbag.

You can use it to check prices anywhere. Like if you're in the city and want to see if gas is cheap enough out in the 'burbs to warrant filling up later. Pretty cool. I use it on roadtrips to plan gas stops so as to avoid high price areas where I can help it.
