I'm curious... Where is Linens and Things's bailout?

Who chooses who gets bailed out and who doesn't?
Citi.. Worthwhile
GM.. Maybe.. they have bad management though... wait.. so does Citi.. right?
Chase? Why? Don't they have enough? Aren't they still making money?
BofA... Ok.. Earnings are down.. but.. not negative.. Right? I believe they had quarterly profit #'s in the billions..
but what about poor linens and things and circuit city and what appears to be double digit % of retail chains across the country

Wife just drug me in there.. Look at this.. Depressing

I guess it's their fault.. They should have made sure Paulson sat on their board of directors

didn't you see the news story last night? there's nothing that's a bargain in there since it's being sold off by the liquidations company now. they go through and raise the prices on most of the items to full retail or higher to try and maximize their recovery for profit

they had a news crew go to linens 'n things and circuit city stores that were beign shut down and found that price stickers at the linen store showed lower price stickers under the current one and the circuit city stores had prices that were now comparable to normal prices at CC stores that were remaining open.

if there were any bargains to be had it was in the weeks before the liquidators bought out the inventory
