They stole my stuff =(

Bastards broke into my car at the Midway train station and stole my radio/cds/sonyspeakers/amp. They punched the lock to get in, and then popped the hood to cut the wires for my alarm. Then they probably took thier sweet ass time stealing my stuff. I can get over the lose of the radio and speakers, but the damage to the door, my dash, and my alarm is really pissing me off. Does anyone know if its possible to lock the hood? I really dont want this to happen again. This way maybe they will have the alarm blaring constantly.

Sorry bro, I fuckin hate me some theives. Yeah, they do sell hood looks. It comes with with of those circular keys and the lock goes under your dash. I would get a two way paging alarm system. I had one on my cobra that paged the keyfob, AND called my cell phone from D.E.I.

Sucks to hear.

I had a secret hood release on one of my trucks. I had shaved door handles (removed and filled in) tied to a remote control, with backup pull cord hidden under the bed. Since the cable broke on the hood release, I just ran a new pull cord to the same location as the emergency door pulls.

It can be done, but it's tedious work. Maybe a good alarm installer can help you out with that.

you can get a hood lock that's activated with the alarm, no circular style key. battery backups are key to theft resistance. and redundance.

however nothing stops a flatbed....

i install hoodlocks (old-style maxi-guard) hoodlocks with high security Medeco keys, with built-in starter interrupt.

it can be installed by itself or as part of an alarm system to take the place of a valet switch.

the lock consists of a hardened steel locking mechanisim that mounts to the underside of the dashbord with the lock cable enclosed in a steel tube passing through the firewall.

when the lock is set, the vehicle is immobilized and the hood is locked via a deadbolt.

ive been installing these as part of a security package for over 20+ years

thats the ONLY device that can prevent underhood wires from being cut and the vehicle from being driven away.

what kind of car is this?

let me know if i can be of any help

Excuse me, while i kiss this Guy......

Yea that's messed up, I had 2 cars broken into, the 1st was a piece of crap that I didn't care much about and all they took was literally trash, McDonald's bags etc.. it was hilarious! The 2nd time I wanted to kill someone, took all my cd's, satellite radio, radar detector...if I ever see anyone breaking into a car I swear I'm beating the sh*t out of them.

About 5 years ago, I had some people brake the passenger window and not get anything out of the car (that i thought would be valuable). That ran me a nice $130
A month later, same shiznit happened but this time they popped the back passenger window, which ran me for $230.
It was an 01 Cavalier. Guess they hated on my ride.

This is going to be a long-term relationship

I had my car broken into the night i had al my stereo equipment put in didnt even get to enjoy any of it.

So after it was replaced I put the new stereo in and cut little pieces of a few razor blades and crazy glued them in stops of the amp and stereo etc.

They broke into the car 3 weeks later left with only a few things but left dna and nice finger prints.

Sentence to 5 years in jail and 64 stitches from what i was told for the cuts after they caught him and he confessed to all the car break in around the area.

Not i dont put shit in the car. I leave nothing but dog food and a jug of water. factory everything its easier and safer. Best advice dont have anything nice in your car. Tinted widows is a prime target to cause they know your hiding stuff in there

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

I thought about doing that to my old car after my stuff was stolen, but figured I would forget I put the razor blades in and hurt my self .

I had the side window smashed and entire system stolen. Sucked because it was 2 days before I was leaving for college.

I decided the same thing, to not have anything visible. I have a shallow mount sub in my tC and everything is completely hidden beneath the rear hatch cover by the spare tire. I even left the head unit stock for that reason.

It happens pretty often in that area. My broS r also victim of this many times.

Guys make sure you also secure your license plate with the hex bolts or something rather than using the basic Phillips screws as they freaking take the whole plate for the sticker.

That sucks cock and balls. My 3 month old radar was stolen from my car earlier this year. I've yet to replace it due to the fact that it may happen again. What a suckfest.

This is just another reason why I don't live in the city, don't work in the city, nor ever want to go to the city for any reason. I hope Chicago gets the olympic games ... I wanna see if the thieves try to steal the medals.
